About the cinema :
The cinema “Mír” (peace) screens from 1. 2. 2016 in the new building which takes place at Marian Square no 1. in Jablunkov. Due to the removal , capacity of the cinema was a bit decreased ( now the capacity is about 60seats). On the other hand thanks to the removal , our cinema got cosier spaces and also lovelier atmosphere. We do not have any specific genre , which we screen the most. Instead of this we are trying to be varied. So we screen , alternative , educational , students and many other types of movies.
The cinema offers also projections for kindergartens,primary schools, seniors, film clubs , summer cinema or external projections . Every year we take part in Filmové babí léto ( an Indian summer movie) and The International Festival of Outdoor Film . According to the projections we also prepare special meetings with movie producents .
We are also opened to the public , so if you have any types or innovative ideas , please do not hesitate to let us know about them .
